  I grew up in the area, taking grandkids and great grandkids and seeing it again through their eyes was amazing. They thought it was a jungle. Docents mother daughter team Jodie and Melody were very informative. We had 15 people in our party, and 12 had never seen the majestic redwoods or a banana slug. Fun had by all. They are all ready to come back.

  Campsites are beautiful. The walk in sites are not too far from the parking spots. Campsites 56 and 58 are completely on top of each other. If you're up for making some friends those spots are gorgeous. All the other walk in sites looked like they were spread out rather well. It backs up to a creek so you get to fall asleep among the Redwoods to the sound of a babbling brook. No excessive noise and it was so beautiful.
